The Region of Southern Denmark is one of five administrative regions in Denmark consisting of the southern part of Jutland and the island of Funen. (It has a population of 1.2 mio within an area of 12,000 km2, and) it’s main task is to manage the regional health service. Another important task is mapping, investigating and remediating contaminated sites in order to protect groundwater and human health. Groundwater protection is our top priority, and we aim to implement innovative and efficient solutions to the contamination challenges. |
