We gave stakeholders all over Europe the opportunity to participate and contribute to the European Preparatory process through a series of European Preparatory Meetings taking place all over Europe:

AS OF 2019, DWF HAS RESIGNED FROM THE BOARD AND IS NOW A REGULAR MEMBER OF WWF.
French Water Partnership and Danish Water Forum were appointed as regional coordinators by The International Steering Committee to facilitate the European Regional Process for 7th World Water Forum to be held in Daegu & Gyeongbuk, Korea, 12-17 April 2015. The tasks are to:
- Develop issues bottom-up
- Coordinate the work of session groups
- Organize kick-off meetings
- Organize sessions during World Water Forum
At the kick-off meeting the following were selected as European topics:
- Water efficiency (broad definition)
- Transboundary water management
- Implementation of EU Directives and UNECE Convention
- Climate Change
- Urbanization - innovate urban water management
- Science and Technology related to data and information management, skills and knowledge gaps
